Welcome to Health 8 at Blendon Middle School. I am Gary Kowaleski your child's Health instructor for this semester. Our web page will provide your student with the assignments, notes, and other information they will need to be a responsible student. It is my hope that they will have an enjoyable semester.

Parent Participation

I would like to make a comment about your involement in Health class this year.

From time to time, I will ask the students to discuss with you the expectation, guidelines, and "definitions" of terms you have for your student regarding health related issues.

These assignments are done to help the student be aware of your position(s) on selected topics. We do not want to assume that our children "know what we expect." We always need to talk to our children before someone else does. My attempt is to have the student as clearly as possible know your expectation, guidelines and "definitions."

These assignments are voluntary on your part and if yo choose not to participate your student's grade will not be affected. If you have any questions please call at 797-6400.
